Rasht<\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>is the capital city<\/a> of Gilan Province<\/a>, Iran<\/a>. Also known as the “City of Rain<\/b><\/span>” , it had a population of 956,971 as of the 2016 census and is the most densely populated city of Iran.<\/span><\/p>

Rasht is the largest city on Iran’s Caspian Sea<\/a> coast. Due to being between the coast and the mountains, the local environment is rainy with humid subtropical<\/a> and mediterranean<\/a> influences. It also has temperate rainforest<\/a> to its south, contrasting to the mostly arid Iran. It is a major trade center between Caucasia<\/a>, Russia<\/a>, and Iran using the port of Bandar-e Anzali<\/a>. Rasht is also a major tourist center with the resort of Masouleh<\/a> in the adjacent mountains and the beaches of Caspian as some of the major attractions.<\/span><\/p>

Historically, Rasht was a major transport and business center which connected Iran to Russia and the rest of Europe, and because of this was known as the “Gate of Europe”. The city has a history that goes back to the 13th century but its modern history dates back to the Safavid<\/a> era during which Rasht was a major silk trade center with numerous textile workshops.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Historic Municipality of Municipality<\/span><\/h5>

One of the famous buildings in the city of Rasht, the city of rain, is the municipality building of Rasht, which is also known as the mansion or the palace of the municipality. According to sources, the construction of this beautiful mansion took between three and four years, about six years, and was designed by a German-Armenian architect named Sardarov who lived in Rasht. The architect took a broad look at the buildings built in the city of St. Petersburg, the former capital of Russia and one of its current famous cities.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Guilan Rural Museum<\/span><\/h5>

The museum is a small but real example of the traditional way of life and culture of the Gilan villages. In this museum the livelihoods, work, crafts and all kinds of spaces in one atmosphere are reconstructed and displayed. Traditional shows and games, growing native herbs and trees, day markets, crafts workshops, rice fields and tea gardens, Rural Nations architecture, tea houses, recreation camps and the Institute of Architecture and Anthropology all in this lovely museum Exhibited.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lake Sqalkser<\/span><\/h5>

The village of Saqalksar located in Gilan province, 5 kilometers south of Rasht, is between Aghasid Sharif and Jirode. The lake\u2019s water is supplied by atmospheric floods and springs in the region. The word saqalksar means the place where the birds eat. In the past, birds such as Lak and Sar came to this village and ate from the springs there, so the village is called Skalksar.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Mohtasham garden<\/span><\/p>

Mohtasham Gardens and the Pyramid Mansion, the oldest park in Rashti, dating back to the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar. The pyramid building, including the Qajar period in the city of Rasht, is also located on the south side of Mohtasham Garden and a polygon building that gives the same appearance to the building and prevents it from appearing on the outside. It is very similar to the upper floor of the cylinder hat.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Rasht Museum<\/span><\/h5>

The mansion that has become the Rasht Museum today was owned by Mirza Hussein Khan Kasmai, a renowned poet, journalist and journalist from the Constitutional Revolution and Jungle Movement many years ago. This house has been in Rasht since it was the host of the Rasht Museum since the year 49. . Saravan Forest Park<\/span><\/h5>

Saravan Forest Park is one of the oldest parts of Guilan forests that is unique because of its diverse plant species throughout the country and even worldwide. The entrance to the Saravan Forest Park has a small pond that is incredibly beautiful. A wooden platform was set up and two boats were set up for sightseeing.
